Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: June 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by Allison Cloud Infrastructure ("ACI"), a division of Allison Global Group (Pty) Ltd. By purchasing or using any ACI service, the client agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Services

ACI provides, but is not limited to:

  • Shared Hosting
  • WordPress Hosting
  • Email Hosting
  • Domain Registration and Renewal Services
  • DNS Management Services
  • Reseller Hosting
  • Website Design and Development
  • Cloud Infrastructure Services
  • Related IT Services

ACI reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service offering at any time.

3. Billing and Payments

  • Billing Cycle: All services are billed in advance. Monthly services are due on the 1st day of each month, while annual services are due on or before their renewal date.

  • Prorated Billing:

    • Orders placed on or before the 15th of the month will be invoiced for the full monthly amount for that current billing cycle.

    • Orders placed after the 15th of the month will be prorated, calculated based on the remaining days of the month.

  • Late Payments & Suspension: Failure to pay invoices by the due date may result in immediate service suspension. ACI reserves the right to charge reactivation fees to restore suspended services.

  • Currency & Pricing: All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. ACI reserves the right to amend pricing with reasonable notice.

4. Domain Registration and Renewal

  • Domain registrations, transfers, and renewals are non-refundable once submitted to the registry.
  • Clients are responsible for ensuring their contact information is accurate and up to date.
  • Failure to renew a domain before expiry may result in redemption fees, suspension, or permanent loss of the domain.
  • ACI shall not be held liable for domains lost due to non-payment, expired contact information, or failure to renew.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

Clients may not use ACI services for:

  • Sending spam or unsolicited commercial emails.
  • Hosting or distributing malware.
  • Phishing, fraud, or identity theft.
  • Unauthorized access to systems or networks.
  • Copyright infringement.
  • Distribution of illegal content.
  • Any activity that violates South African law.

ACI reserves the right to suspend or terminate services immediately if abuse is detected.

6. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for:

  • Maintaining secure passwords.
  • Keeping account information accurate.
  • Securing websites and applications.
  • Maintaining independent backups.
  • Complying with all applicable laws.
  • Ensuring all content hosted through ACI is lawful.

7. Website Design Services

  • Website projects commence only after payment of the agreed deposit or first invoice.
  • Content, images, and information required for development must be supplied by the client.
  • Delays caused by the client may affect project timelines.
  • Ownership of website content transfers to the client upon full payment.
  • ACI retains ownership of proprietary code, systems, templates, and infrastructure unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Backups

  • ACI may perform backups as a courtesy service.
  • Clients remain solely responsible for maintaining their own backups.
  • ACI does not guarantee backup availability or successful restoration.
  • ACI accepts no liability for data loss.

9. Service Availability

ACI strives to provide reliable services; however:

  • Services are provided on a best-effort basis.
  • Planned maintenance may occur without prior notice.
  • Emergency maintenance may be performed when necessary.
  • No uptime guarantee is provided unless stated in a separate written agreement.

10. Limitation of Liability

ACI provides services on a best-effort basis and does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

ACI shall not be liable for any loss, damages, claims, costs, loss of revenue, loss of profits, business interruption, reputational damage, loss of data, or any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:

  • Service interruptions
  • Loss of internet connectivity
  • Network failures
  • Power outages
  • Hardware failures
  • Software failures
  • Cybersecurity incidents
  • Data corruption
  • Domain or DNS issues
  • Third-party supplier failures
  • Acts of God
  • Force majeure events

The client acknowledges that all internet, cloud, hosting, and email services carry inherent risks.

ACI's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the affected service during the month immediately preceding the claim.

11. Suspension and Termination

ACI may suspend or terminate services without notice where:

  • Payment remains outstanding.
  • These Terms & Conditions are breached.
  • Services are used unlawfully.
  • Network abuse or security risks are identified.

Termination does not relieve the client of outstanding payment obligations.

12. Partnership Program

Participation in the ACI Partnership Program is subject to the following:

  • Discounts apply only to qualifying hosting services.
  • Discount tiers may be amended by ACI.
  • ACI reserves the right to remove partnership benefits where abuse is detected.
  • No contractual minimum commitment is required unless agreed in writing.

Current discount structure:

  • 10+ Active Websites: 10% Discount
  • 20+ Active Websites: 20% Discount
  • 30+ Active Websites: Custom Pricing

13. Reseller Hosting

Resellers are responsible for:

  • Managing their own customers.
  • Providing first-line support to their customers.
  • Ensuring their customers comply with these Terms.

ACI reserves the right to intervene where legal, security, or regulatory requirements exist.

14. Privacy and POPIA

ACI processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Client information may be collected for:

  • Service delivery
  • Billing and invoicing
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Identity verification (FICA where applicable)

ACI will not sell client information to third parties.

15. FICA Verification

ACI may request:

  • South African ID or Passport
  • Proof of Address
  • Business Registration Documents

Failure to provide requested documentation may result in service suspension or refusal.

16. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, branding, designs, software, and content belonging to Allison Global Group (Pty) Ltd remain the property of Allison Global Group (Pty) Ltd unless otherwise agreed in writing.

17. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

18. Amendments

ACI reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be published on the ACI website and become effective upon publication.
